Northern Stage Rally ChampionshipBulletin
8 – July 2005 Well
I had a great holiday – thanks for asking! Whilst I was away we’ve
had the Dukeries and Torque BAC events so lots of results to update. Despite
a retirement on the Dukeries and missing the Torque BAC, Roger
Priestnall retains the overall driver’s lead but with a reduced
margin. Greg Wilkinson moves into second, 79 points behind. Mark
Thompson is in third and a number of others are very much still in
contention as we head full steam ahead into the second half of the year.
Things are a little closer with the Navigators with Giles Dykes leading
Steve Ward by 30 points with St John Dykes 11 points further back. Again
there are a number of navigators close behind. After
the Dukeries, Dave Hemingway has a huge lead from Alan Richardson and
Roger Priestnall after 4 good finishes on the 4 forest events to date.
Jim Plevey leads in the Navigators table from Ian Jackson &
Christopher Roe. After
the Torque BAC the tarmacadam Challenge standings are very close. Steven
Crowther leads by 25 points from Mark Thompson with Alister Hutchinson
15 further behind. The same points separate the Navigators with David
Batley ahead of Giles and Next Events
