Northern Stage Rally ChampionshipBulletin

A
quick update this time in order to get something out prior to the Robin
Hood. The
third round of the Championship took place last weekend with the Legend
Fires North West Stages based in Preston. The number of contenders that
took part was disappointing – the event was new to the Championship
this year and was an attempt to offer a multi-venue tarmac event for a
change in a different area of the Association to the bulk of the events.
The feedback I have had from a couple of crews that did the event is
positive – I would welcome any more reports and equally important,
some feedback on why you did not do the event if that was the case. In
fact more registered contenders did the non- Championship Kall Kwik the
day after! So, come on, let me know. Next
Events The
Alternative Sign Centre Robin Hood Forest Stages Rally – 7th
March (www.robinhoodforeststages.co.uk) This
weekend sees the next round offering 43 miles in the Nottinghamshire
Forests. You have probably missed your chance by now! 2004
Willingham's Recovery North Humberside Forest Rally - 27th March (www.northhumbersideforeststages.org.uk) Regs
have now been posted for the 2004 Willingham's Recovery North Humberside
Forest Rally which will take place on 27th March, starting from the
Ramada Jarvis Hotel at Willerby (west of Hull) with stages in the
central and eastern blocks of the North Yorkshire Forests. If you have
not received a set please contact Alan Carvell, 01482 840756 quickly as
this ever popular event will fill up fast. Pacenotes will be available
