BULLETIN
No. 9/ 2006 (Issued 27 November
2006)
Hi
All
Welcome
to the end of year Bulletin, I hope on behalf of the ANCC and myself you have
enjoyed your year long competition. It has been a very good competitive year
with an average of 9 entries of the 17 registered competitors on 12 of the
planned 14 events. The good news is that the interest has been maintained from
start to finish and I hope we can continue this trend and repeat the commitment
over 2007. Unfortunately two events did not run, YSCC due to lack of entries –
it was early in the year – and was planned to be organised for later in the
year. Sadly the date they chose was Boxing Day and I felt this was a little
ambitious to include the event in the Championship when at this time it is for
the family. The second event that was cancelled was Alwoodley MC event due to
site problems beyond the control of the Club, but they are hopeful that the
event will be rescued for 2007.
I
would like to offer a very big THANK YOU TO ALL THE COMPETITORS and
EVENT ORGANISERS and that hope you will support the ANCC and I in
registering for the Championship again next year, and in addition
you will try and cajole you friends and contacts to enter our
Championship in 2007.
Please find attached the FINAL results table and Award Winners – PLEASE CHECK THIS – and if you should find any errors and/or omissions please contact me as soon as possible. This has been amended since that issued on Bulletin 8 – the only changes being in the overall position places – not point or awards.

I
hope most of you have responded to Iain Tully (ANCC Secretary) by returning the
questionaire about your awards night and what form you would prefer it to take.
The date and style has to be determined and is awaiting your replies before
confirmation but it would appear to be in late January or early February in the
Cleckheaton area. It would be much appreciated if ALL award winners would attend
and if you are not able to, appoint a person to collect on your behalf and in
either case please advise me.
In
preparation for 2007 I ask if anyone has any proposals to change and/or amend
the Championship Regulations but the main request is the year end appraisal of
the events included in the 2006 Championship. It is noted that all Clubs
providing events in 2006 are interested in being included again. To this end I
attach a copy of the events for 2006, with a table on which you can advise your
mark for each event and also and more importantly a table of my proposed events
for 2007 on which there is a column for your comments. PLEASE COMPLETE AND
RETURN TO ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE in order that I can prepare for 2007,
before Christmas. I hope that most if not all will respond to this request as
this is YOUR Championship for YOUR enjoyment.
Please
find on the reverse, a copy of the results, if anyone has any further queries
please contact me.
Regards,
Graham
