ANCC AUTOTEST CHAMPIONSHIP 2006

Hi All

Surprise, surprise two Bulletins in one month, as the season progresses to the last third I will endeavour to issue a Bulletin after each round, subject to receiving the event results in time.

The Knutsford & MC event on 16 July had a good entry, it was a round of many Championships including the MSA & BTRDA. As a result of this our current Champion holds 1^st overall by one point and his class by 10 points, and Howard Everingham holds 2^nd overall. All other class positions remain the same although the points tally has increased.

There is still a lot to go for as there are 6 rounds to go, and with four contenders on six rounds already, dropped scores will soon come into effect, coupled with competitors missing the odd event, means that it could easily get tighter.

I hope you will all aim to enter as many of the remaining events as possible as the organisers need your support in order that they can give theirs to you by providing events for you to play at.

  Whilst on events we had a date of 27 August 2006 (Bank Holiday weekend) for a round to be organised by Sheffield & Hallamshire MC but having not hard from anyone I have tried to confirm that they are still running. I have found out that the club is running just about every other type of motorsport event but not an Autotest . I have tried to e-mail my contacts but they have been returned undelivered. Therefore I have withdrawn this event and replace it with an event we know will run and is worthy of support and that is the csma event on 03 September 2006 – Regulations attached. 

Please note that there is a discounted entry fee of £5 if entered before 27 August 2006. The csma events have only attracted on average 14 competitors, but I am advised that the venue, facilities and surface are good – please support.
